What I find most interesting about this set is that it’s proof that Peggy and Steve actually had a relationship. I converted a lot of friends to Steggy with my relentless cheerleading and all of them told me that they seriously, based on usually a single viewing of Cap 1 (and no knowledge of the comics), thought that Steve and Peggy just flirted and had one kiss and that’s it. One friend was initially like ‘I could not understand why you were so into this pairing that barely seemed like it had a chance to be anything’–this is the one thing I wish Cap1 had done better with, but THANK GOD for Agent Carter and the Peggy short for making it clear, like crystal, that Steve and Peggy WERE together. Literally everyone knew about it. The SSR. The Commandos. THE RADIO SHOW PEOPLE. And I mean, would Steve and/or Peggy be this tragic over someone they just looked at longingly and kissed once?? Come on.
