The South Indian Academy of Sorcery is housed at an undetectable location somewhere along the coast of Kerala. Although the school hosts a variety of students from all over southern India, they have all taken to celebrating various Kerala festivals alongside resident natives. Classes are steeped in tradition, with extensive studies in history, astronomy, linguistics, and the intersection of magic and mathematics. However, wizarding education, like muggle education, is fluid and ever-changing. The elemental-based magic once commanded exceptionally by professors and students alike in the wake of Kerala’s agricultural society has given way to technological innovations and magic in the form of electrical manipulation. The floors of the school are comprised of colourful tiles, each shifting at random intervals to form intricate designs and images that tell stories long lost in the folds of history.
